The Minister of Economic Development of Georgia Zurab Pololikashvili received the members of the Deputy Congress of Spain – Juan Moscos, Alex Saes, and the Spanish businessman Carlos Kaba. Issues concerning easing trading regime, signing free trade documents and issues concerning the members of European Union associated with Georgia were discussed at the meeting.
The Minister said before the start of the meeting that Spain became became the chairman country of the EU and Georgia should take advantage of this period.
“The general feeling of the Spanish deputies towards Georgia is quite positive. These are the people on whom the further relations between Georgia and the EU depend on” – announced Pololikashvili.
The member of Deputy Congress of Spain Juan Moscos said that Georgia and Spain have a good relationship and that Spain has big plans concerning our country.
“This concerns improving trade relations as well as deepening touristic and cultural relations. We shall also discuss issues concerning the “Eastern Partnership” today. Georgia has an important place in the further development pof the European Union both in the realms of Democracy and Trade” – said Juan Moscos.
