New Year’s present from the Department of Tourism and Resorts to the children - With the initiative and organization of the department and help of the railroad department Bakuriani-Tsaghveri-Bakuriani special “Kukushka” train tour was opened on January 7, 2010. 

 The tour will function for one month and the first three days the tour will be free. 

The aim of the event is to restore the product “Kukushka” and popularize it that will be another means for attracting tourists in the region. 

The carriages of the train will be decorated for New Year and animators will take care of the passengers’ mood during the first three days. 

Promo-event was held on January 5 and 6 where Santa Claus and other fairy heroes announced about the opening of the tour from a decorated sledge. 

Advertising flyers and sweets were also shared out during the event. 

The ceremonial opening of the tour was opened on January 7. The event was attended by the Head of Tourism and Resorts Department Zaal Abazadze and employees of the department.
